Act now. Protect Australia’s precious marine life before it’s too late!

Australia’s offshore oceans are under threat. Destructive fishing, fossil fuel drilling, seismic blasting, pollution, and rising marine heatwaves are placing immense pressure on our fragile marine ecosystems.

Right now, only 8% of south-east Australia’s oceans are protected, but we have a short window of opportunity to change that. The Australian government’s draft plan proposes adding 11 new marine sanctuaries, doubling the current protections! This would help secure habitats for endangered species like blue whales, little penguins, and fur seals.

But there’s a devastating setback. The same plan proposes cutting 11,000 square kilometers from the Flinders Marine Park sanctuary. With our oceans already at risk, we need to expand protections, not reduce them.

We have just a couple of weeks to make our voices heard! Take action before the 14 November.

Sign the petition to urge the Australian government to protect and expand our marine sanctuaries. With your help, we can secure these vital ocean habitats for future generations.

Yes, I'll add my name to make a stand for Australia’s marine life. Together, we can protect these vital ecosystems for future generations.
