Tell Congress to protect big cats

Reflecting broad public support for safeguarding tigers, lions, leopards, and other big cats, Congress is considering legislation that would bring an end to the private ownership of dangerous wild cats in the U.S.

We now have an opportunity to let members of the U.S. House and Senate know that their constituents support captive big cat protections and to ask that they support the Big Cat Public Safety Act (H.R. 1380/S. 2561).

By advancing H.R. 1380/S. 2561, Congress can help end the mistreatment of captive big cats and greatly reduce unnecessary risks to the public. Tell your members of Congress that you care about big cats and support H.R. 1380/S. 2561.

A quick note to your U.S. senators and representative could help protect big cats nationwide. We have prepared a template email for you to send. If you prefer, you can personalize this copy to make it more effective. Please ensure that you are polite at all times.
