Reflecting broad public support for safeguarding tigers, lions, leopards, and other big cats, the U.S. House of Representatives has reintroduced legislation that would bring an end to the private ownership of dangerous wild cats in the U.S.
We have an opportunity to let members of the House know that their constituents support captive big cat protections and to ask that they advance the Big Cat Public Safety Act (H.R. 263).
Passing this important legislation will help to end the mistreatment of captive big cats nationwide and greatly reduce unnecessary risks to the public. Tell your representative that you care about big cats and support H.R. 263.
